Behind TNLC

It started in Hong Kong, not as a business plan, but as a coach-athlete relationship built on trust. Ruby and JP saw what the right mindset could do for an athlete's confidence, long before they saw a company. By 2024, that belief became something real: TNLC - The No Limits Club, a triathlon athleisure apparel and gear brand built by two HK-based triathletes — for the mindset the sport gives you, worn on the course and off it.

Co-Founders : Ruby & JP

Ruby used to believe her limits were fixed, until she realized they were just a story she kept telling herself. That shift took her all the way to her Kona dream and multiple race wins, and eventually into coaching full-time, because she'd learned firsthand that mindset carries as much weight as mileage. TNLC became her way of carrying that same belief further than one-on-one coaching ever could. She still lives and breathes this sport, and built TNLC to share what it taught her with more people than she could ever coach in a lifetime

JP went from clinically obese, with no sports background, to finishing multiple half-Ironmans, a full Ironman, and 2x IM70.3 world championships, all within a few years of meeting Ruby. His point was never the medals. It's that it's never too late to go after something, if you've got the right mindset and the right people around you. TNLC became his way of passing that message on to more people than he could ever reach one at a time.

TNLC - The No Limits Club

More than a sport, triathlon teaches you a mindset that doesn't stay on the course. It follows you into your routines. Your goals. Your confidence. The way you handle pressure. The way you show up for yourself when things get tough.

That's what TNLC is for — not just what you wear, but how you live.

Where Mental Grit and Resilience Collides

Our philosophy is simple: mental grit and physical resilience aren't separate — they work together, and that's how you break through the barriers you once thought were impossible. In triathlon, the finish line isn't only a place you reach. It's a test of who you become on the way there.

We understand the early mornings, the late nights, and everything it takes to get there. When your body starts to fade, your mind is what keeps you moving. When your mind fills with doubt, your training is the proof that you can keep going anyway. That's the journey TNLC is built for — where mind and body grow together.

Triathlon Is a Lifestyle

To us, triathlon isn't just a sport — it's a lifestyle. It's discipline, community, and a bit of chaos, mixed with coffee stops, shared jokes, and finish-line hugs. It's the pursuit of something deeper than a finish time.

Because triathlon asks you to grow mentally and physically, every single season. And that's why TNLC is more than what you wear. It's what you choose to become: resilient, committed, and always moving forward.

Meet the Trio

Our brain mascots—Finn, Cadie, and Strider—represent the mental strength required for each discipline. They're reminders that triathlon is as much a mental game as a physical one. Each character embodies the mindset you need. Together, they represent the complete athlete—someone who trains the mind as hard as the body.

The Deep Dive

Meet Finn. Where every journey begins with the plunge. The swim is where fear and excitement collide. Navigating open water chaos, finding your stroke when every breath feels uncertain, and trusting yourself when you can't see the bottom. This is where you learn that calm isn't the absence of chaos; it's finding flow within it. Our swim gear is built for those pre-dawn starts, the cold water shocks, and the moment you stop fighting the current and start moving with it. Before you can break limits, you must learn to breathe through them

The Long Haul

Meet Cadie. Where consistency becomes your superpower. The bike is where the real work happens — mile after mile, testing your patience and your legs. This is where you learn that showing up matters more than being perfect. Our cycling gear is built for the solo training rides, the endless hill repeats, and those moments when your body wants to quit but your mind keeps you turning the pedals. Because discipline isn't built in a day; it's built one revolution at a time.

The Final Push

Meet Strider. Where everything you've built gets tested. The run is the final push, where heavy legs and a tired mind face their reckoning. This is where excuses fade, and something deeper takes over — the part of you that refuses to stop when stopping would be easier. Our run gear is built for those last miles that hurt, the mental battles that no one else sees, and the moment you realise you're stronger than the voice telling you to quit. Because limits don't break themselves; you break them, one step at a time.
